my cousin just moved to the UK, he got a 2023 Subaru outback there and is already hitting a snag.

He wants to get some good All Terrain (AT) tires for it, you know, for some proper exploring, but he's finding that tire options over there are way different than those in the States.

He's trying to figure out what the best AT tires available are in there and for a outback, since he's a bit new to the local market.

I would love to hear about your experience guys, especially those who have put AT tires on their Subaru and those who live in the UK.

What's your experience been like with different AT tires on your Subie?

We're all ears for any recommendations or warnings, since he's trying to get it ready for some UK adventures!

Tell him to look into the Falken Wildpeak A/Ts if he can find them locally. For all the times I used them they've worked great on my Outback. If not, the General Grabber AT3 is another one I can recommend. :)

Most people slap AT tires on Subarus for the look, not the function, so unless he's truly going off-road often, they'll just add noise, hurt MPG, and ruin the Outback's comfortable road manners

A lot of the super aggressive AT tires from the States are less common in the UK, but there are still some great options.
The most popular choices are usually the Falken Wildpeak A/T3WA or the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2. Both are fantastic and will give him the off road capability he's looking for

The tire market over there is pretty different from the States - AT options are way thinner in UK shops. Worth asking the Subaru dealer what they stock and recommend though, since they'll know what actually works well there.
