Gosh, I need some advice. I just bought a used 2022 Outback XT with only less than 40k miles. Turns out the previous owner went 25k miles without an oil change, which led to a check engine light and performance issues right before they traded it in.
The car runs fine now, but I'm worried about future engine problems.
I'm still under the manufacturer's 3/36 warranty and also have a 6/100 Subaru Gold Plus extended warranty.
Can't help but wonder if my warranty will be void if something happens because of this neglect? And what preventative maintenance should I do right now to protect the engine?
Does anyone here ever found something like this? What happens to the car after long term?
